BACKGROUND

Class of ’95. Born in Lower Austria’s Mostviertel, among orchards and rolling hills, Bella grew up close to the land, and to the people who work it. That early sense of where things come from never left her. It became the thread running through everything she does: wine, food, hospitality, and the question of how we can do all of it more sustainably. Curiosity took her far from home. From Portugal and France to Indonesia, Brazil and Sri Lanka, she learned to listen first and tell second.

STUDIES

Bella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science, where she learned how messages move people and why some stories stick while others fade. She went on to complete a Master’s in Green Marketing, a combination that brought together her two convictions: that communication shapes the world, and that it should leave it better than it found it. Along the way, she trained as a voice-over artist and completed her yoga teacher training in Sri Lanka, the place she has called her winter home for the past four years.

CAREER

Bella’s first byline came before her high school diploma: while still at school, she was already writing for NÖN, Lower Austria’s regional weekly. From there she moved to ORF, Austria’s national broadcaster, and got her first taste of television. Next came international PR, first at Wine & Partners in Vienna, then at loebell nordberg, working with renowned winemakers and five-star hotels. In 2025 she went fully independent.

Today she is managing editor at aehre, the sustainable business magazine partnered with DerStandard, writes long-form pieces for Falstaff Profi and ÖGZ, and produces and hosts podcasts. In front of the camera and the mic, she has worked as a commercial model for more than seven years for clients including Austrian Airlines, ÖBB, Frucade, Zipfer, Pure Surf Camps, SO/VIENNA, Anantara & more, voiced spots for Wiener Linien, Wien Energie, Österreichische Post and Vöslauer, hosted KEY SUMMIT and sings at weddings and events. Different stages, same craft: finding the story, and giving it a voice.

ME TODAY

I carry with me everything I’ve learned from the worlds I’ve crossed: PR, journalism, in front of the camera and on the yoga mat. I believe in stories that are honest, made with care for people, animals and the planet, and told with the courage to say what matters, even when it’s uncomfortable. Whether it’s a winemaker in a cellar, a chef in their newly opened restaurant or a founder trying to change an industry: if there’s a story worth telling, you’ll find me listening.
